Class 1998, Giulia Macrì as Fleuide graduated in contemporary dance and performing arts, constantly researching new ways to express my deepest self, that for me can be pure, authentic, true and without filters only through the art forms. I've always been surrounded by art environment and exhibitions that I've always attendend since I was a little girl. I developed a particular interest in Deutsch Expressionism such as Kirchner paintings for the strong colours, geometrical shapes and the raw expression that aims to express an interior mood. In my drawings I want to represent people I know and people I see around, trying to delineate their characteristics through a precise colour's choice. Also the choice of type of plant/flower is not casual (grapevine for my venetian friend, lemon for my sicilian one, etc..) that can be read as a colorful wallpaper, a flowery meadow or whatever your imagination suggest you. I'm interested in representing the truth of daily life and its celebration
