be**pART is the largest collective art show ever! The project is born to respond to the social and economic emergency caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the prolongation of the lockdown, that has put in a difficult situation many Independent Producers around the world preventing them from working and blocking their access to the market. The exhibition be**part will be open throughout 2021 at the Atelier Montez in Rome, with all the small-format works of art produced by Independent Producers around the planet.
Given the continuous delay of the emergency Covid-19, we decided to remove the deadline initially set to participate in the exhibition. We will continue to accept the endorsements of all the Independent Producers in the world who want to participate in the project, until the emergency is over and we are back to normal.
Due to the Covid-19 emergency, it has not yet been possible to open the show be**pART to the public. We hope that the show be*part can be visited from January 2021, when it will be again allowed by law to organize the event. In the meantime, we are working to digitize all the project contents in order to be able to display digitally and sell the works of art even remotely! That’s why we’re developing the web platform “be*part.gallery”
Bepart.gallery is the digital roll of Independent Producers participating in be*pART - the largest collective art show ever!
The bepART.gallery web platform serves to synthetically collect and tell the story of each Independent Producer who participates in the largest collective exhibition ever! Each Independent Producer who has successfully completed the registration must access his profile and indicate how he intends to receive payments for the sale of the works. On this platform, we will securely record all the information you need to produce the catalog of the show be**pART and to let the public know your personal history and your work.
Once you have successfully completed the subscription to be**pART you will receive an email with the credentials to access the reserved area in the web platform bepart.gallery. In the top menu, log-in to the reserved area with the credentials you received. Once you have accessed the reserved area, you can modify your Independent Producer profile and enter all the information required to promote your work.
Write a short history of your artistic career (max. 1000 characters) in the section "biography". Write in ENGLISH! This will give you a better chance to get in touch with our international buyers. As a suggestion, you can tell us your story by answering these 3 simple questions: Who are you? What kind of art do you make? Why do you do it?
Click on "profile photo" and upload a beautiful picture of your face well lit.
No. At the moment you can upload only one photo of your face.
No. We only need one photo of the 30 works you delivered for the be**pART project. Please do not upload more photos in this section.
In the "Photo Gallery" box press the black button "edit gallery photo details" and add title, technique and year of production of the series.
In the "Contact" section, copy and paste links to your website and social profiles, such as Instagram, Facebook, Youtube... This aspect is very important because it allows customers to visit your websites and find out more about your work.
The work shall be signed and ready to be hung on the wall with one nail. Depending on the support you will use, you can choose many different ways of preparing the hangs. For works on paper, we recommend hangers that stick on the back of the work. If possible, we recommend that you protect the paper works with a protective plastic wrap or glass frame. It is important that the overall size of the work included frame does not exceed 10 * 10 * 10 cm
Please write on the back of the artwork the edition in which you intend to reproduce it (example: 1/1 or 1/100) Remember to sign each single work/reproduction. Remember that if your artwork is not unique, the sale-price will be lower because divided by the number of the copies/reproductions.
You will decide the pricing of your own artworks by indicating your Coefficient in the box "art Coefficient". By doing so you will help us to determine the price of each artwork.
The coefficient is a numerical value Between 0,1 and 10 that helps to determine the market price of an artist's work. The coefficient is usually assigned by a gallerist or an art expert in order to price and sell the works he produces. In the "coefficient" section you can propose us your artist coefficient, which we will use to establish the selling price of your works.
To know what your coefficient is, you can ask your gallerist. Usually, the method to calculate the coefficient of an artist is not disclosed by the experts. For this reason, the calculation of the coefficient is almost always a little transparent and a very expensive process, because it is based on the personal experience of a few experts who can provide this service. Calculating your own coefficient is by no means a simple thing. For many it is a real problem. For this reason, we decided to create "BART”, an algorithm that will help you to calculate your own artist coefficient in a simple and free way!! All you have to do is press the button "calculate your artist coefficient" and spend a few minutes answering the questions of the questionnaire that will be submitted to you. By this, you will provide us with the detailed information of your CV and BART will help you to verify and calculate the value of your artistic work. BART will be activated in January 2021, after we have completed the collection of works of Independent Producers participating in the project be**pART.
If we know the price of the artwork and its measurements in cm, we can estimate the coefficient C of an artist: Add base and height (base + height), then divide the price by the result obtained, divide the result by ten. An exemple: price = € 600,00; measures = cm 50 * 70; Coefficient = 600:(50 + 70):10 = 0,5
add base + height and multiply the result by the coefficient. Add a zero to get a value in €. Let’s take an example: the painting has a base of 50 cm and a height of 70 cm; the coefficient attributed is 0.50; 50 + 70 = 120; 120x0.50 = 60 If the currency is in € we add one 0. We get 600.00 €
We will start the pre-sale of the works from December 2020 and throughout the Christmas season. It will be possible to buy the property of the desired work immediately and receive it within a few days by mail. Interested buyers can view all the works on the web platform bepart.gallery (or on the Instagram page of Atelier Montez) and send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating the work they would like to buy. We will reply immediately by email with an advantageous proposal to purchase in advance!
Starting in 2021, when it will be possible to open the exhibition to the public, we will add new features to our web platform to allow even the most distant users to digitally visit the exhibition and buy the works.
