Claudio Meli, 1948 († 2019) was born in Alexandria in Egypt to a Neapolitan mother and Sicilian father. In 1961 he returned to Italy, and settled with his family in Rome. In 1968 he graduated in art and in 1975 he graduated in Architecture at the University of Rome La Sapienza. At the same time as the profession of architect, the artistic activity started as a child continues, following his father painter and creator of motifs for fabrics. Since 1961 he has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad: Switzerland, France and Germany. Meli's collages and polymaterials appear in private collections in Italy, Europe, the United States, Brazil and Japan.
