Marilena Iepan is a romanian contemporary artist, event organiser and independent curator, based in Bucharest, Romania. She studied art school, flute and piano, graduated public administration and law. She mostly paints in watercolour, a medium that gives her total freedom to express her feelings and emotions. She considers painting as a form of meditation, a reminder of the meaning and fragility of life. She has exhibited and participated at international festivals, symposiums and art exhibitions in Romania, Hungary, Albania, Italy, Kosovo, Slovakia, Macedonia, France, Czech Republic, Morocco, Costa Rica, Netherlands, Bulgaria. Her artworks are in private collections in Romania and abroad.
